Greyson 16 months (in pictures)

Greyson is 16 months old today! He has reached this mile stone with  much to celebrate!
He has a mouth full of teeth and is breaking in some new ones - molars!
He can walk and run very well now!
He has quite the vocabulary - at his pediatrician visit the doctor asked if he knew at least three words...oh he knows alot more than that!
He is stacking his blocks. Pays attention (most times) when a book is read to him.
He likes the movie 'Cars'.
He recalls things that happened to him...like when Mimi tells him the story of how the duck bit his ear at St. Simons, he starts acting out the story before she can finish telling it!
He is still Mama's boy, not wanting her out of his sight for very long at all!
He enjoys playing (and fighting) with his cousins.
Greyson says. . . you've got to excercise to stay healthy!

Greyson says...You've got to keep up with
what's going on in the world!

Greyson says...you should be very expressive when telling
a story! (It makes it more interesting!)
Greyson says...if you think someone's shoes are too big to fill,
you may be right, but try any ways!

Greyson says...You gotta take time to do something for yourself...like play with your toys. It will make you happy!

If you ask Greyson if he wants a baby brother, he shakes his head no. Never the less, he is getting one in less than 2 months! Soon there will be pictures of his baby brother! So check back soon!

Greyson 14 Months (In Pictures)

Feeding the ducks at the pond - St. Simon's Island
Fourteen Months Old - An Exciting Age!
Greyson began walking at 14th months. For about a week he would stand up and take a step or two and then he just took off!
He can repeat a lot of words you say. He said bunny rabbit so clearly one day - but of course hasn't said it again since! And his mommy heard him say trash truck one day when she was explaining what the loud noise was outside.
He will tell you his scrambled eggs and his bath water are 'hot'.
He imitates many animal sounds and one day at the farmers market he saw some 'fake' chickens and started calling out very loudly...bock - bock - bock!

When he is looking through his books, if there is a picture of an insect or spider - he has to slap it!
He went on vacation to St. Simon's Island and enjoyed the beach, swimming in the pool and feeding the ducks.
He continues to be the pride and joy of his parents and grandparents!
Playing with washed up debris on the beach at St. Simon's Island.
Shopping for books while on vacation.
Greyson loves to pull out all his toys and play with everything!
He also likes to get into things he's not supposed too!
He is still a Momma's boy and wants to be right next to Momma...in this case, right beside her on the couch.
Bath time is still play time!
He is still in Momma and Dada's bed.
Watching Dada cut grass...and wondering why Sadie (the dog) gets to be outside with Dada.
Learning more and more to feed himself. Rice, beans and corn at this meal. Some is on top of the his head!

At the end of the day he has to play with toys some more...it's the perfect ending to a long day!

Greyson 13 months (in pictures)

What a messy face! But he's learning to  try and like new foods! Like spaghetti!
 Happy 13 months Greyson

In his 13th month, Greyson continues to grow and learn new things! He continues to bring much joy and happiness to his parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and the rest of his family and friends!
Good morning and Good mood!

Happy time in the bath tub! Loves playing with his toys and splashing around to get clean!

Greyson participated in his first Easter Egg hunt with his cousins on Daddy's side of the family. The egg hunt was held at Great-Aunt Joy's house, complete with Easter dinner served buffet style and TONS of eggs to be found in the back yard!!!

Easter Egg hunting was fun, but tiring. He's letting off some steam with Great-Granddaddy!
Enjoying playing with his toys while at the beach with Mommy and Daddy!
13 Months is a FUN time!!!

A Walk In The Park...Spring 2012

The Mimosa Tree...barely budding.

The trees are bare.

The beginnings of a dogwood flower.

Very young dogwood blossums.

Love these delicate pink blooms.

These cattails are frazzled at the end of their season.

Crisp air in the park...about mid-March.
Can't remember what this is budding out.

The pine trees are putting out their little male cones...the ones that spread all the pollen on us and make us sneeze, weep, and itch!

Close up of the baby cones.

Lots of baby cone clusters!

White blooms are pretty too!

Worm nests. Not my favorite part of spring!

Azaleas.

Fallen tree.

Dandelion-seed head.

Mushroom.

Young dogwood flower.

Holly berry bush.

Reminds me more of Christmas, then of spring!

Calm pond.
I'm not sure what these white flowers are.
