A Lazy Saturday

Today is a lazy Saturday. I have done something very close to nothing, all day. I got up early, took a shower, ate cereal for breakfast, washed and folded some clothes, and looked at Face Book and blogs. The T.V. is on the TBS station and I am on my third movie...Corrina, Corrina, The Cook Out, and now I think I Love My Wife.

It's weird seeing Steve Buscemi in something besides an Adam Sandler movie. I enjoy lazy Saturdays, because for the most part I am always stressed out and feeling 'crazy'. Sometimes I just like to reflect on the good stuff in my life, stuff that makes me happy and makes me smile... and Lazy Saturday is a good time to do that!

• Work has been going great since I became a full time, benefited employee on January 2.
• I have a wonderful circle of girlfriends and family members
• I have a good husband
• I have two wonderful daughters
• I have a decent home and a decent car
• I have a closet full of shoes and clothes
• I have a big screen tv and a laptop computer
• I have two sweet kitty cats
• I have friends and family who help with my Mama and Ed (step-dad)
• Now that I am gainfully employed, I have a few $$ in my checking account (but I'm not loaded)
• I have faith in God
• I have plenty of books and magazines to read

I am being kind of silly and also materialistic, but I can't help it. I am lazy today....and happy!
